The Rakovnik Roller (or Rakovnik Tumbler) is little pigeon (200 to 220g max); it comes from Czech Republic in the Rakovnik City near of Prague in the north-west of the Bohemia.
In Czech Republic it's call "Rakovnický kotrlák".
I imported these Rakovnik Roller form my friend Miroslav Lubas in Czech Republic. I have a Friend in Slovakia : Andrej Margetin who breed the Rakovnik too for the sportive fly.
It's a little pigeon who execute any quick tumbles in series in flying, it's able to made any deep rolls too. In Czech Republic it's very appreciate for expositions shows but especially for the acrobatics in fly.
It exists in all colours. But the main characteristic drawing of the Rakovnik is the Saddle draw : it's a magpie draw plus a white head with a strip on the forehead.
This breed is not recognized yet like an EFU breed, consequently it race in "Open Class".

- Double tumble
